The 2008 Stew

Built on a question, not a quarterly target.

One Sunday afternoon, halfway through a vegan stew, Mark Anthony Tarling asked himself an uncomfortable question: what is the most unhealthy ingredient in this meal?

It wasn't the salt. It wasn't the oil. It was the water — the chlorinated, fluoridated, micro-plasticised tap water he was using to boil his organic vegetables. He realised in that moment that you can eat local, eat vegan, and eat clean — but if your water is a chemical cocktail, you've poisoned the dish before the first bite.

Four stages. One quietly extraordinary glass of water.

Each Watermark system runs your incoming mains supply through four dedicated, NSF-equivalent rated stages — each one tuned to a specific class of contaminant. The result is water that is biologically intelligible to your cells.

Sediment & kidney care

The first stage strips out particulate, rust and the heavy lifting your kidneys would otherwise be doing for you.

Chlorine & by-products

Stage two deals with chlorine, chloramine and the unloved disinfection by-products that follow them down the pipe.

Advanced & future contaminants

Multi-media protection against PFAS, pharmaceutical residue and the contaminants regulators haven't caught up with yet.

Bacteria & microplastics

The last stage handles bacteria, pathogens and microplastics down to the micron — finishing what the first three started.
